It’s always a bit puzzling to find a good use for the beautiful test prints that accumulate while printing hundreds of runs of posters, and we’re pleased to present this functional use of the gems we’ve harvested from our *seven year* stack of one-of-a-kind test prints. When you’re getting the press ready - proofreading or testing the ink - it’s wise to re-use the same sheets of paper over and over so as to reduce waste. The result is a gorgeous cacophony of imagery and type, all layered at random, producing patterns that are often 6 or more layers thick and combine names and images created for different artists over the years with wedding invitations and informational posters that otherwise wouldn’t co-exist. We took those posters and cut them down to create the covers for journals to document your collect your thoughts and doodles. These journals are each one of a kind and are limited in supply, so if you’re the type of person to like to fill up multiple journals as a set - we recommend getting several so you can accumulate volumes! There’s no telling when we’ll make these again.
Journals are one-of-a-kind, measuring 5.5”x8..5” and contain 50 pages of 60lb text weight blank white paper, perfect bound with a sticker for the inside flap that features space for Volume number, start and finish date and “from the library of"
